Kathryn McCormick

Kathryn is known from her work on So You Think You Can Dance, appearing both as a
Season 6 contestant and as an All-Star seasons 7-13. Cast as a dancer in the feature
film remake of Fame, she soon appeared as the female lead in Step Up Revolution and
Dance-Off. Kathryn’s TV credits include a guest-starring role on CSI: Las Vegas,
Dancing With The Stars, The Academy Awards, The Emmy Awards, and The Kid’s
Choice Awards.
She has worked with artists such as Muse, Christina Perri, Schiller,
Pharrell Williams & Gesaffelstein, Vienne, Timbaland, Neyo, and John Torres. Kathryn is
a co-creator/featured artist in the documentary Like Air, a principal performer in Ted 2,
the indie drama Lift Me Up, and a choreographer on Britt Nicole’s “Hits Deep Tour”. She
is a co-founding choreographer of CLI Studios, as well as a member of Stacey Tookey’s,
“Still Motion”, “Movement One”, and performed as a guest artist with “Shaping Sound”
for their fall tour in 2015.
Kathryn has a great passion for connecting and sharing with
others, she first had the opportunity to use her motivational background through
traveling with The Revolve Tour as a Featured Speaker. She is a faculty member on
DanceMakers convention and a mentor on Mentorly where she is able to expand her
reach with one on one mentorship around the globe. Kathryn is also a certified
Neurosculpting meditation facilitator and is currently training with Somatic Experiencing
International as an intermediate level student. She is interested in using mindfulness
and science based tools to create environments that are safe enough for students to not
only trust her as an educator, but more importantly begin the process of trusting and
discovering themselves.
